Impact Investing
The Hackett Group (THG) has launched Reconstruction Fund 1, LLC (“Fund”), an opportunistic, multi strategy private equity fund focused on creating impact as well as investment returns for investors. THG has also formed Reconstruction, L3C for the purpose of providing technical assistance and specialized consulting services to the portfolio investments, as well as developing and reporting impact metrics for the Fund and the underlying portfolio companies and projects. Unlike a traditional investment fund, which only seeks to maximize financial returns for its investors, impact funds strive to deliver risk-adjusted returns while creating positive social, economic, or environmental impacts based on a set of defined objectives.
